Nissan GTR - Fast Facts & Full Specs
This is a detailed list of the 2009 Nissan GT-R specs. The list is broken down into Engine, Drive-Line, Interior, Exterior, Body, Suspension & Wheels, Performance and Safety. The information collated here about the GT-R is from extensive research both on & off the internet.
I quickly fell in love with Nissan's newest creation, the Nissan GT-R and spent many hours searching the internet to find out as much information as possible about it.
I discovered that the information is scattered out across the internet like dust from an atomic explosion. No single website has a lot of information about the car.
So here, I hope to compile and display all the information I have collected & I will continue to add to it as I find more and more about the GT-R. I have now even started to hunt for information off line, such as calling Nissan directly.

LAP TIMES:

COMPARISON TO OTHER SUPER CARS:
Nissan made no secret of benchmarking the GTR against the Porsche 911 Turbo. The GTR is slightly longer, wider and taller than the Porsche. The GTR is also 155kg heavier than the 911. However around the Nurburgring, the GTR easily beats the Porsche 911 Turbo, and even blitzes the even more expensive 911 GT3 by over half a minute!
To put the GTR lap time in perspective, see the lap times of other high performance production cars:
Nurburgring Production Car Lap Times
Note that the GT-R is faster than:
Bugatti Veyron by 11 seconds
Ford GT by 13 seconds
Lamborghini Murcielago by 14 seconds
Ferrari F430 by 26 seconds
Porsche 911 GT3 by 34 seconds
This mind blowing result places the GTR up with the most expensive super cars of its time.
